Faraday are from Hamburg. Till, Peer, Dennis and Alex founded the Band in 2005. After a first demo EP they are now presenting their debut album "The Dying Art of Composure" released on Ratio Records. The 6 tracks on the record spread out to album length. Postrock, formerly known as Emo - Faraday are brilliantly showing what it means to build up tension, to hold it and then, in their most wonderful moments, to smoothly let it drop it smooth. Faraday give all their hearts to the music, live and in the studio. Hard to beat in intensity but still hiding a sweet melody behind their massive walls of sound.
Faraday are a young band, both the storms of the Northern Sea and the Hanseatic understatement are clearly defining their stirring debut.
